Statutory Updates for Taxation Modules, Returns and Annexures

In view of the latest statutory requirements and the increasing compliance by businesses falling under the purview of Value Added Tax, various enhancements are being introduced in Tally.ERP 9. These business specific enhancements pertaining to changes in VAT Rates, Forms and Annexures etc. are provided for each State to ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day operations and timely filing of VAT Returns in the physical as well as the electronic modes as per the requirements of the Department.


Updates pertaining to Stat Release 159

• Odisha - The State name Orissa is changed to Odisha.

• Service Tax – Service Tax E-filing Support as per xml schema will be provided.
• Andhra Pradesh - The Works Contract functionality will be supported.

	Data Migration:
	• Install Tally.ERP 9 Series A Release 3.3.     • When you access the data of Tally 9 in the Tally.ERP 9, Tally.ERP 9 will prompt for rewriting the data.       (It will also prompt for a Data backup. It is recommended that you backup your existing data).     • Now, you are ready to enjoy the Tally.ERP 9 features on your data.
	Please check the Download Centre regularly for the latest statutory files:
	• Stat.900 Version 159 is the minimum Stat version required for Tally.ERP 9 Series A Release 3.3.
